COACHING

Coaching creates higher performance, bigger breakthroughs, clearer goals, and more persistent action. All of this ladders up to living the life that you’re meant to live. All the best performers in the world are surrounded by people who help them achieve their best - personal trainers, nutritionists, psychologists, business coaches, speech writers, etc.

Getting a coach means investing in yourself. Many of the things that we buy in life create comfort - a new outfit, a vacation, a new home or car, etc. Investing in a coach creates growth. Having an experienced professional in your corner creates the confidence to set goals, prioritize your objectives, see your blind spots, and help you through breakdowns.

Breakdowns

Everyone goes through breakdowns. The saying goes that you can’t use the same thinking that created the problem, to solve it. Breakdowns are opportunities for growth that show us the resources or skills that we’re missing. They also reveal our survival patterns - what we do when the going gets tough - fight, flight, freeze, or fawn?

Support during hard times can be the difference between seeing the opportunity or drowning in opposition.

Breakthroughs

On the other side of breakdowns are breakthroughs. Breakthroughs are new ways of thinking, new habits, perspectives, partnerships, jobs, or environments that feel like positive emotional highs. They change our day to day mindset and create massive amounts of momentum. If nurtured properly these breakthroughs turn into breakouts.

Breakouts

If the breakthrough sticks, then it becomes a breakout. This is the integration of the breakthrough into your every day life. Breakouts represent massive up-leveling that shatters the glass ceiling and allows you to ascend to the next level of your life. Breakouts mean taking your mind, body, spirit, career, finances, and relationship to the next level.

COACHING & HYPNOTHERAPY

During my coaching, I put my background as a Certified Hypnotherapist to use. Hypnotherapy puts you in touch with your subconscious minds, using metaphor and suggestion to change our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It's very similar to guided meditation... but with a powerful agenda that will enable you to become a better version of yourself.

MY STORY

In late 2014, I would arrive home at night not wanting to do anything. I didn't want to exercise. I didn’t want to see friends.

I wanted to shut myself off from the world. I could see where all of this was leading so I reached out for help. 

Rather than seeing a psychologist as I'd done in the past, I decided to try something new. 

I'd never been hypnotized before, and I had lots of expectations for what it would "feel" like. I went in with an open mind, and dived into my unconscious.  What a wild and crazy ride - my problems became lemons to be tossed into the distance, salmon to be eaten by bears, soap scum bathtubs needing to be cleaned, beige walls that needed painting. As I worked with the metaphors my unconscious mind delivered up, I started to change. 

The day after our second session I walked into work, sat down at my computer and nearly cried. It felt as though every morning I was carrying a 100lb backpack into work, and finally I was able to take it off. I felt like a different person - I laughed, I smiled... the symptoms had disappeared overnight. 

It was so powerful that I started making a list in my head of all the things I wanted to tackle with my hynpotherapist and started knocking them off one by one - being on time, staying more focused while working online, dealing with difficult people, etc.

At the same time as I progressed through these issues, I left my job, and began considering new careers. How cool would it be if I could help other people make change in their own life as I have been doing.  That seed took hold more quickly than I could have imagined, and after intensive study in hypnotherapy and NLP, I became a certified hypnotherapist. 

In the years since, I’ve branched out, studying with some of the best teachers in coaching, breathwork, Reiki, Qi Gong, shamanism, somatic experiencing, spirituality, and the neuroscience of change. I continue to learn and bring new modalities into my work with clients.
